Karina Smirnoff Mourns Aaron Carter Death On November 6, 2022, Aaron Carter passed away. He was a former child star who had a prosperous career in the music business.

Karina Smirnoff, the professional dancer he partnered with on Dancing with the Stars Season 9, sent a tribute to the singer of “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)” on Instagram.

Aaron Carter’s Cause of Death Remains Unclear

Around 11 a.m. on Saturday, Carter’s house received a call for assistance, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded, according to CNN. Carter was discovered dead in his bathtub. Carter has previously spoken openly about his mental health issues, which included schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, acute anxiety, and manic depression.

The cause of Carter’s passing remains unknown as of publication.

According to TMZ, the pop singer drowned and there was no sign of malicious intent.

Smirnoff, Carter’s former partner, wrote on social media about their time competing together. On November 7, the professional dancer said on Instagram, “RIP @aaroncarter.” Smirnoff shared Carter’s Week 1 DWTS Season 9 dance in memory, praising the singer as having “pure brilliance.”

She continues in her caption, “So youthful.” It’s tragic, I tell you! People always smiled at you. My friend, rest in peace! We will miss you.

Carter’s time on Dancing with the Stars was further documented by Smirnoff in her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “My heart is broken.”

The day of his passing, Carter’s Backstreet Boy brother posted a sad Instagram. Nick Carter pronounced, “My heart is broken.” My affection for my brother has never wavered, despite the difficulties in our connection. I’ve always had faith that he’d one day desire to live a healthy lifestyle and eventually get the support he so urgently needed.

Carter said that he will miss his brother “more than anyone could ever know” and labeled mental illness “the ultimate villain.” “I adore you, Chizz,” he said in conclusion. You can now at last experience the peace you were unable to find on earth. I adore you, little brother.

Over the weekend, the Backstreet Boys, who are currently on tour, demonstrated their support for the Carter family. During their concert in London, they shared pictures of Carter and dedicated a song from their DNA album to the late singer.

Melanie Martin, Carter’s ex-fiance, also commented on his passing. Prince, her son with Carter, was born on November 22, 2021.

She stated in a statement that “we are still in the process of accepting this awful truth” (according to Page Six). We sincerely appreciate your prayers and thoughts.

Also posting on Carter’s passing was Hilary Duff. The Lizzie McGuire star posted a message on Instagram addressed to Aaron that said, “For Aaron – I’m sincerely sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle in front of the whole world.” “You had an incredibly effervescent appeal, and oh, did my teenage self love you. I’m thinking of you and your family right now. Take it easy.
