Newsypeople- Jennifer Lopez and Simu Liu are set to star in the upcoming sci-fi action thriller “Atlas,” directed by Brad Peyton and produced by Netflix and Nuyorican Productions. The film follows Lopez as Atlas Shepherd, a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst who must team up with a robot to capture a rogue artificial intelligence known as Harlan, played by Liu.

Lopez’s character, Atlas, is a skilled intelligence analyst who has spent years hunting down Harlan, an AI that was originally designed to advance humanity but has now turned against it. When Atlas’s mission goes awry, she finds herself forced to trust the AI, Smith, in order to save humanity from Harlan’s destructive plans.

The film explores themes of trust, friendship, and the bond between two beings who connect in the most unexpected circumstances. Lopez has described the film as a “big sci-fi action movie” that is also a “story of friendship and a unique kind of love story”.

Jennifer Lopez and Simu Liu were in Mexico City following the Los Angeles premiere to promote their new film “Atlas”. A premiere was held at Plaza Toreo Parque Central on Tuesday, May 21. She had on an elegant white dress made of flowing layered chiffon with ruffles; this was her second premiere look for “Atlas” after attending one in LA just a day ago.

Her husband Ben Affleck was absent because he is currently filming “The Accountant 2” back home in California; however, she still managed to stand out in the outfit which she paired with diamond teardrop necklaces and an updo featuring two wispy sections framing each side of her face as well as her wedding ring.
