The cast also includes John Larroquette, reprising his role as Dan Fielding from Night Court’s original NBC run. This marks the second original cast member to leave Night Court: Kapil Talwalkar exited the series ahead of its second season as court clerk Neil, with Nyambi Nyambi joining the Season 2 cast as new court clerk Wyatt.

Night Court, which has been renewed for a third season since May 3, will continue without de Beaufort’s character.
