It was confirmed that two Marvel actors, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth will work together on Crime 101 an upcoming heist film based on a novella by Don Winslow.
Amazon MGM Studios will produce the movie directed by Bart Layton and is set for release in theaters in 2025. Ruffalo, who played Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, may join Hemsworth who is already attached as lead actor as well as one of its producers alongside his wife Elsa Pataky and their partner Ben Grayson. The two have previously appeared in various MCU movies including Thor: Ragnarok. The plot follows detective Lou Lubesnick’s efforts to solve a spate of jewelry thefts across East Coast America believed to have been committed by Colombian cartels.

However, he suspects that they are the work of an individual following specific rules known as ‘Crime 101’.The scriptwriter for ‘Crime 101’ will be working on it with Bart Layton following their partnership in writing and directing ‘The Tinder Swindler’. Comparison has even been made between its tone and those in Heat by Michael Mann and Sicario by Denis Villeneuve because it is dark and full of suspense.

Mark Ruffalo and Pedro Pascal are well-known actors who have worked on many different projects. Imagine a scenario where Ruffalo replaces Pascal in a Marvel film that isn’t a part of the MCU. This could be interesting with Chris Hemsworth there, too. Ruffalo is really good at playing the Hulk. He always has something going on beneath the surface when he acts.
He adds depth to any part he plays. On the other hand, Pedro Pascal can do lots of different types of roles. Also, people love him because he is so charming. It would be cool if they put Hemsworth in this movie as well. He is famous for being Thor. It would also be awesome because these two are very different kinds of actors so watching them work together would be amazing.
Pascal’s charisma mixed with Ruffalo’s intensity and Hemsworth’s sense of humor would make for an incredible non-MCU Marvel project that fans will want to see. If these three were united on screen, their combined talent would give new life to any characters featured in this made-up story about what might have been.
