Doughboy: What Happened To The Cast From Street Outlaws – Info On Health Details.
The son of main cast member JJ Da Boss, Doughboy, also known as Josh Day, is a cast member of the reality television program Street Outlaws: Memphis.
The Discovery Channel airs the street racing documentary/reality series Street Outlaws. The program focuses on American street cars that are the fastest, racing, and the families and friends that own the vehicles.
A spinoff of Discovery’s Street Outlaws, Street Outlaws: Memphis, follows the fast-talking, bet-taking JJ Da Boss and his family and friends as they do their illegal racing business. The cast has dominated the scene for years, but occasionally their pride and honor run afoul of JJ’s hustle.
The show has five seasons, and Doughboy has been a highlight for all of them. However, recently, fans have noticed that Doughboy has not appeared on screen for the latest episodes.
His absence from the show has given rise to several stories, some of which include his legal woes, accidents, and even demise.
There have been enough deaths in the program to cause concern anytime a cast member vanishes, despite the fact that many have called the show false or an exaggeration of the world of street racing.
The two most enduring incidents in Street Outlaw’s history may be considered to be fatalities. The first was Tyler Priddy, also known as Flip, who passed away in a car accident before the first season of the show, even though he had already finished filming it. At least two other cast members have since passed away. The second was Christopher Ellis, whose heroin overdose caused his untimely death.
Doughboy: What Happened To The Cast From Street Outlaws
According to JJ Da Boss, the father of Doughboy, the young driver has a herniated disc in his back.
Following his disappearance, fans went to his social media accounts, but since he doesn’t use them much (his latest Instagram post was on April 23, 2019), it wasn’t much of a help.
Doughboy has been hurt before, and in the opening episode of the second season, “Put Your Life on the Line,” he reflects on his reluctance to race again following a disastrous collision. Doughboy is definitely rethinking his options given the situation involving his injured disc.

As the show makes extremely clear, street racing is a dangerous activity. The cast takes numerous safety measures to prevent any injuries while filming. However, the problem was made worse by the fact that Doughboy himself had not provided any updates, leading people to believe he was in a far worse predicament than he actually was.
Hopefully, Doughboy will make an appearance again soon.
How Is Doughboy’s Injury & Health Update?
Apart from the original announcement of his injured disc, neither Doughboy nor anybody else from the cast has spoken anything about his health.
Doughboy will be absent from the show for at least six months to relax and recuperate completely as a herniated disc typically takes that long to go away on its own.
However, many fans doubt his injuries after a Redditor mentioned that he is not currently on the show because of some legal issues. Though these legal issues have not been revealed, many other individuals claimed the same on different social media platforms.

Whether these individuals are telling the truth or are simply restating what the original Redditor said is up for debate. The Redditor said that Doughboy’s wife was still on the program because she is Precious’ sister in the original post to allay any skepticism that might have existed over his assertion.
On Street Outlaws: Memphis, Precious Cooper is arguably the most aggressive driver, and her sister Chelsea Cooper has been wed to Doughboy since 2015.
