In a move that blends his on-court dominance with off-court indulgence, world No. 1 tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz has commissioned a bespoke Sunreef Ultima 88 catamaran.
Announced at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the 26.8-meter power catamaran is currently under construction at Sunreef Yachts’ shipyard in Poland, with delivery expected in approximately one to one-and-a-half years.
The Spanish star, known for his explosive playing style and youthful charisma, chose the Ultima 88 for its emphasis on speed, comfort, sustainability, and expansive living spaces.
Featuring a beam of nearly 30 feet, the vessel promises over 380 square meters of luxurious area, including fold-down side platforms creating an impressive Ocean Lounge, a toy garage, hydraulic swim platform, and accommodations for up to 10 guests in five cabins.
Powered options include efficient hybrid or diesel setups, with potential for solar integration, aligning with modern eco-conscious yachting trends.
Estimated in the €9-11 million range, it outpaces fellow Spaniard Rafael Nadal’s earlier Sunreef 80 Power “Great White” in length and scale.
Alcaraz’s Luxurious Toy
Alcaraz, who visited the Polish yard during his research, expressed enthusiasm.
“I decided to order the Ultima 88 with Sunreef because I feel they are not only experts in luxury catamarans but true trendsetters.”
