As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 31-year-old striker plans to join AC Milan after finishing his play in the European Championship with La Furia Roja.
Even though personal terms with the Rossoneri still need to be agreed upon, Morata’s transfer looks like it will happen soon. Milan is ready to pay Atlético Madrid’s asking price, which is thought to be about 13 million euros, to get the seasoned forward.
The suggested agreement involves Morata signing a contract with Milan for three years, where he would receive around four million euros each year plus additional bonuses. But the player wants a deal for four years instead and is asking for a higher basic salary of five million euros per year.
