The disease re-emerged in 2017, leading to further diagnoses of incurable secondary cancer in her hip in 2017, liver cancer in 2020, and two sizeable masses in her brain in March 2023. Linda Nolan, born on February 23, 1959, is the sixth of eight children born to Tommy and Maureen Nolan. The family initially resided in Raheny, a suburb of Dublin, before moving to Blackpool in 1962. This move led to the formation of the Singing Nolans, a family singing group that included Tommy and Maureen Nolan, along with their seven children: sons Tommy (born 1949) and Brian (born 1955), and daughters Anne (born 1950), Denise (born 1952), Maureen (born 1954), Linda (born 1959), and Bernadette (‘Bernie’, born 1960). The youngest member, Coleen (born 1965), did not formally join the group until 1980 due to her age.

The Nolans gained fame with their performances, and Linda Nolan became a prominent member of the group, contributing to their success. After leaving the group, Linda Nolan continued her career in music, television, and theater, achieving notable successes in her solo career and as part of various projects.

Linda Nolan’s siblings include Anne Nolan, Denise Nolan, Maureen Nolan, and Bernadette Nolan, who passed away in 2013. Coleen Nolan is also a member of the Nolan family, known for her participation in the group and her television appearances.
