Delta Goodrem: Is The Singer Suffering From Cancer?
On August 16, 2020, Delta Goodrem released a six-minute video detailing the origins of her song “Paralyzed.” She revealed in the video that following the removal of her salivary gland, she had serious issues that led to a nerve in her tongue going into paralysis, requiring her to relearn how to speak.
She was unable to control her tongue due to nerve damage brought on by the removal of a salivary gland last year, which impacted her ability to speak and make noises.
The singer went to speech treatment every day as she had to relearn how to talk. Thankfully, she can now sing and talk again. Goodrem made the decision to conceal her diagnosis until she had dealt with the fallout and was recovering.
