It has been a scintillating week for Nigeria’s Super Falcons stars across Europe and beyond but none shone brighter than Asisat Oshoala, who delivered a ruthless, headline-grabbing performance to power Al Hilal Women into the Saudi Women’s Cup final.
The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year was simply unstoppable on Thursday night, scoring a sensational hat-trick in a commanding 5-1 victory over Al Qadsiah Women to seal a dominant 7-2 aggregate triumph.

Asisat Oshoala Tears Qadsiah Apart
From the first whistle, Oshoala imposed herself on the game, showcasing the elite movement, pace and finishing that have defined her career.
Carrying a narrow 2-1 advantage from the first leg, Al Hilal continued their control and Oshoala led the charge.
She opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a stunning right-footed strike from outside the box after being teed up by Kheira Hamraoui.
Just two minutes later, Jéssica Silva doubled the lead after latching onto a through ball from Al Bandari Mobarak in a lightning counterattack.
Although Ajara Nchout briefly gave Al Qadsiah hope with a goal in the 42nd minute, Oshoala responded immediately, finishing another fast break to restore a two-goal cushion before halftime.
There was no slowing down after the break.
Oshoala completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute, calmly slotting home from the left side of the box, again assisted by Al Bandari Mobarak, putting the result beyond doubt.
But she wasn’t done.
In the 89th minute, the Nigerian superstar won a penalty after yet another dangerous run into the box.
Ghizlane Chebbak stepped up to convert in stoppage time, sealing a resounding 5-1 win on the night.
