So Andre Onana Dropped By Cameroon Because he refused to alter his playing style, Andre Onana of Inter Milan was reportedly benched by Cameroon for the critical match against Serbia.
Onana, one of the team’s stars, was not only left out of the starting 11 but also the entire matchday squad, according to the news that broke as the team rosters were made public.
Then Fabrizio Romano claimed that Song wanted Onana to switch back to a more conventional goalkeeping approach, but Onana refused to do so.
When he was initially overlooked, some stories did indicate that the reason for his exclusion was that he had questioned Samuel Eto’o’s inclusion in the squad, a legend in Cameroon.
