Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra recently wore a $43 million Bulgari peacock necklace to a star-studded event in Rome hosted by the Italian luxury jewelry brand. Bulgari named their latest high jewelry collection, Aeterna, which was unveiled during the event.
In 2021, Chopra became a long-standing brand ambassador for the company. She wore a black dress with a white peplum top that matched the stunning diamond accessory perfectly.
The Serpenti Aeterna is known as the necklace designed as a masterwork by Bulgari’s proficient artisans. The necklace has a 200-carat diamond, seven pear-shaped drops totaling 40 carats cut from it then set beneath a platinum sinuous three-dimensional wave structure encrusted with 698 diamonds weighing 61.81 carats.
This fantastic piece took 3,000 hours to make and was presented at the Terme di Diocletian in Rome, an open-air museum where Priyanka was joined by Anne Hathaway among other celebrities who are also Bulgari brand ambassadors including Liu Yifei, Shu Qi, Hikari Mori, Alessandro Gassman, Isabella Rossellini, and Carla Bruni.
