The demise of Kenya’s first opposition president, Mwai Kibaki, has been widely circulating on the internet.
He is survived by his children, Judy Wanjiku, Jimmy Kibaki, David Kagai, and Tony Githinji.

He was brought to the facility on January 20, 2004, for a blood clot in his right leg, according to doctors. At the time, he was diagnosed with mild blood pressure. Eight days later, he was released.
Following that, in 2016, he was airlifted to South Africa for carotid artery surgery, which he underwent smoothly.
Kibaki was in London for a series of medical examinations in September 2019. The condition of his knee was also examined.
Furthermore, the president was admitted to the hospital in June 2020 with lower-abdominal pain.
