The statement, shared on Sunday afternoon, closely follows a widely circulated interview by actor Yul Edochie—Austin’s current husband—regarding his failed marriage to his first wife, May Edochie. In that interview, Edochie cautioned men to establish strict boundaries and reject compromise in relationships.
