This week, Missing 5-year-old Lucian Munguia was Found Dead Yakima River, the boy who vanished in Washington state in September.
According to Yakima police, the remains were discovered on December 29 and an autopsy was finished the next day.
The coroner discovered the bone remains belonged to Lucian Munguia, who vanished from Yakima’s Sarg Hubbard Park on September 10 based on a comparison of dental records. According to CrimeOnline, a statewide alert was sent out, and a thorough search was started.

DNA tests, according to the investigators, would help to further verify the identity. Based on the findings of the autopsy, they added that “there is no indication of illegal activity” in the boy’s death.
