Decomposing Pregnant Woman In Torrey Moore Apartment: Authorities in Maryland last week discovered a pregnant woman’s rotting body at the residence of a man suspected of killing a convenience store employee.
According to WTOP, Torrey Moore, 31, was detained on Friday for the Thursday shooting death of Ayalew Wondimu, 61.
The body of a lady in an “advanced level of decomposition” was found during a search of Moore’s apartment, according to Montgomery County Police Chief Marcus Jones.

According to information that we have, she might have been eight months pregnant, according to Jones. We’ll have to wait till the medical examiner has finished their examination before learning more about that.
The incident at the Dash store on Thursday afternoon between Moore and Wondimu was pieced together by the police, according to CCTV footage and witness reports. Jones claimed that their argument began with an iced tea issue but quickly turned violent. Wondimu allegedly retaliated with a metal pole after Moore allegedly tossed items at him.
Jones claims that Moore took a handgun out from under his vest and shot several times, striking Wondimu at “point-blank range” and “senselessly” reaching over the bar to keep shooting long after Wondimu had fallen.
“It is really distressing to me that a quarrel over an iced tea container at a convenience shop could escalate to the point where someone would then pull a firearm and brutally murder someone in broad daylight,” Jones said. “I believe that everyone in our community would agree,”
Montgomery County SWAT Team Investigation At Moore’s Apartment
After Moore’s arrest, a Montgomery County SWAT team carried out a search order at his apartment and discovered the unidentified body. According to Jones, detectives think the lady and Moore were dating and that “some kind of argument between the two” may have resulted in the woman’s death approximately a month ago. She will be identified by the medical examiner, who will also ascertain how far along she was.
Jones stated, “We have a lot of work to do. We have no reports of any missing persons from that vicinity who met her description. “We’re a little surprised that we haven’t heard any calls yet that would have let us know something was going on inside that unit.”
For the convenience store killing, Moore is in jail on accusations of first-degree murder and having a gun while committing a crime. Upon completion of the woman’s autopsy, additional charges may be filed.
