Drake In July, he revealed that he would collaborate with the Young Money Crew for a special performance on August 1 when he announced the October World Weekend. The creators of “Seeing Green” and “No Frauds” were these people. Even though they haven’t shared a stage in a while, they would rejoin as the main attraction.

Drake stated in an Instagram post that he was “currently planning on delivering OVO FEST throughout the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary,” but “of course, we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!

An “All Canadian North Stars” concert at Drake’s History nightclub marked the beginning of the “Road to OVO Fest Tour” on Thursday. Choclair, Keshia Chanté, Jully Black, and special guest Nelly Furtado all made appearances.

Chris Brown and Lil Baby both had headlining performances that Friday. Drake tested positive for COVID even though “the Big Three” — Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake — were supposed to wrap up the festival.

Before the Young Money team reunites, it might take some time. Following Drake’s withdrawal, it is unknown when or if Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake will perform together. The rapper told his followers that he had received a positive COVID diagnosis and that he was “really heartbroken” to deliver the bad news.

The Canadian MC posted on his Instagram Stories, “I am extremely devastated to say that I tested positive for COVID, and the Young Money Reunion event set for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible.

“When we get a new date set, I’ll let the city know and let them know. I love you all and I hope you all keep safe and healthy until then. I’m very sorry for disappointing you over our weekend together, and I’ll give it my all on stage (barring the COVID) as soon as I test negative, he continued.

Drake released his album Honestly, Nevermind in 2022, which also saw the Young Money reunion. Following on from Certified Lover Boy in 2021, this collection featured 14 brand-new songs and a cameo from 21 Savage.

While “Sticky” has had over 55 million Spotify plays, “Falling Back” has received over 40 million. In the upcoming weeks, more details about Drake’s tour dates are probably going to be revealed. Fans may keep up with Drake on his social media channels in the interim.
