Newsypeople- Peloton has decided to ban Diddy’s music from all future classes after a video resurfaced showing him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. This action by Peloton includes eliminating all of Diddy’s music from its platform, halting the use of his music in newly produced classes, and removing the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series.
The decision was made in response to the disturbing 2016 surveillance video that captured Diddy chasing Cassie down a hallway, grabbing her by the neck, throwing her to the ground, and kicking and dragging her.
Despite Diddy’s public apology for the assault, which did not directly address Cassie, Peloton has taken a firm stance by ceasing the utilization of his music on their platform, reflecting their commitment to addressing serious issues and concerns raised by their community members.
Peloton Bans Diddy’s Music After Cassie Assault Video
In 2016, video surveillance captured Diddy attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura physically. In response, Peloton has banned the rapper’s music from future playlists. The footage, which aired on CNN and shows Diddy in only a white towel, includes punching, kicking, shoving, and throwing a vase at her.
Public outrage over using this particular artist’s songs is widespread among Peloton customers for their fitness programs. This demonstrates how much Peloton cares about important issues and its content integrity.

After releasing this film, Diddy made an apology, calling his actions “unforgivable.” He went further, saying that he takes full responsibility for what happened while adding that he has been seeking professional help, including therapy and rehabilitation.
Peloton’s action shows seriousness on their part; therefore, they informed their members through a Facebook post that Sean Combs’ music will be stopped temporarily and Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series removed from the platform completely.
Moreover, Peloton stated that in future classes made by instructors, they would not use any songs written by him. In the same light, they also took similar steps when Kanye West made anti-Semitic remarks last year, whereby such artists were eliminated from the library contents of this company too.
By excluding his songs from playlists, Peloton is one step closer to creating safe spaces for all individuals while fostering supportive relationships among them as well as taking a strong stand against violence or harmful conduct.
Diddy And Cassie Ventura Relationship Timeline
During a period of ten years, there were several major incidents in the relationship between Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie Ventura before it came to an end amid controversy. It all began back in 2005, when nineteen-year-old Cassie signed with Bad Boy Records, which was founded by Diddy. Although he had initially taken her on as a spokeswoman for his clothing line called Sean John, rumors started flying about them being romantically involved after she got together with Bad Boy Records.
Despite people’s curiosity about what was going on between them, both parties kept denying any such claims, more so because Diddy had been in a relationship with Kim Porter until 2009. However, things changed between the two lovebirds in 2012 when they began making public appearances as a couple at various events, including Kanye West’s fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, thereby confirming their romantic relationship.
Throughout the time that they were together, there were many good times mixed with bad ones, which were evident from the numerous breakups and make-ups that were reported through different media houses.
One of the most notable incidents happened in August 2016 after an argument erupted between them while in Beverly Hills, causing speculation about their breakup to resurface once again, but it later turned out to be false after Us Weekly confirmed they were still an item. In 2014, engagement speculations were rife following a picture shared by Diddy on Instagram showing Cassie wearing a huge diamond ring with a caption insinuating he had proposed, although this was denied by representatives close to him, thereby leaving room for further suspicion.
However, things kept changing for the two of them, with Diddy even revealing his rule of having what he referred to as a 25/75 relationship, where 25% constituted extremely happy moments that were filled with joy while 75% represented periods when things didn’t seem right, which helped shed more light into their union.
But it all came crumbling down in October 2018 when news broke out that they had finally called it quits for good, which came after a series of events, including Cassie filing a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, claiming she underwent years of abuse such as being forced into taking drugs against her will, physical violence, and sexual assault, among others.
These allegations gave a very different perspective on them together, thus showing how complex their love life had been. Cassie has since moved on with her life by marrying Alex Fine and starting a family, while Diddy is still trying to find his way around, but despite everything, their affair remains of interest to many people, which brings about wider conversations concerning fame and power play in relationships within the music industry.
