Mayers’ arrest came after a manhunt, during which she was found at her home. She allegedly confessed to the crime, admitting to walking into the AurGroup Financial Credit Union Bank and demanding a teller to hand over some of the bank’s cash while brandishing a gun. The bodycam footage shows Mayers immediately confessing to the officers, stating, “I did whatever you’re here for. The robbery”.

Police charged Mayers with one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and one count of tampering with evidence. The second charge is attributed to Mayers’ decision to dispose of her clothing out of her car window while fleeing the scene, which is considered tampering with evidence.

Mayers reportedly walked away with $500 from the bank heist. She is currently in custody at the Butler County Jail, held on $100,000 bail, and will likely remain there unless she can post bail.
