When her nephew learned of the incident, he roused her up in the middle of the night. The victim of the Kia Challenge is an Indiana woman by the name of Alissa Smart. The occurrence took place on July 22, 2022.

Smart claimed that someone tried to break into her Kia using the USB cord method, shattering the window and rupturing the steering wheel. She said that they might be teens because they had taken bicycles and Mountain Dew from her parent’s garage.

She added that the youths tried to steal her car again but were unsuccessful. She reported the theft to the police right away, explaining that it had left her with repair costs she couldn’t pay.
