"Help me for God’s sake" – Zamfara man cries out on Facebook moment before bandits abducted his two wives and five children

Armed bandits invaded the home of one Lukman Muttaka, in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, abducted his two wives and five children, including an infant. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, May 13, 2026. In a desperate Facebook post at the time of the attack, Muttaka wrote in Hausa: Barayi acikin gidana taimaka man dan Allah Thieves are in my house, help me for Gods sake.  Muttakas younger brother, Tijjani Lukman Baban Yusra, also confirmed the incident on Facebook. “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Bandits succeeded in entering my elder brother CSI Lukman Muttakas house where they took the entire family.
