Newsypeople- Khéphren Thuram, who is 23 years old and plays midfield for OGC Nice, has finished his medical check with Juventus.
He signed a five-year deal with the Serie A team. The transfer cost is said to be about €20 million, plus another €5 million in possible extra payments.
Khéphren Thuram, who got chosen for the French Olympic team, was taken out from the squad because Juventus asked so while his transfer to the Italian club came close. The player with one cap for France is likely to receive about €2.5 million every year playing with Juventus.
The younger brother of Inter striker Marcus Thuram and son of former Juventus defender Lilian Thuram, Khéphren came to Turin on Monday evening or early Tuesday morning for his medical check-up.
He arrived at Caselle Airport and then went to the club’s private clinic J Medical with his father by his side.
He is the third player to join Bianconeri during this summer transfer window. Before him, they signed Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa for €50 million and goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio from Monza.
OGC Nice already found new player to replace Thuram. They signed Tanguy Ndombélé without paying a fee since his contract with Tottenham Hotspur ended.
