Fulham are interested in Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi. Ndidi has a £9 million relegation clause in his contract.
Ndidi played 28 matches in the Premier League last season and provided five assists.
Fulham are looking to add quality to their midfield. They have several players on their shortlist, including German Under-21 talent Rocco Reitz, who plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach.
They are also linked with their former player, Palhinha, and Ndidi.
The club prefers a player who can switch roles and is very flexible—criteria Ndidi fits perfectly.
Ndidi plays primarily as a defensive midfielder but can also operate as a central midfielder.
His passing distribution is good, and he has a strong ability to stop opponents in their tracks.
Fulham finished 11th in the Premier League. The club’s sporting director, Tony Khan, is working hard this transfer window to bring in players who can suit Marco Silva’s playing style.
