The French international also acknowledged that his performance during the previous campaign was not up to his usual standards, and he vowed to improve in the upcoming season.
Mbappé attributed his subpar performances to the impact that the challenging circumstances had on his happiness.
Despite the difficulties, Mbappé emphasized that he remains proud of his achievements at PSG, where he helped the team win six Ligue 1 titles.
However, he is now eager to embark on a new chapter with newly-crowned Champions League winners Real Madrid, a move he has described as a “dream come true.”
