CHAN Eagles Resume Training After Zanzibar Draw

The Super Eagles B resumed activities on Tuesday morning with a recovery training session.

Head coach Eric Chelle oversaw the light drills and stretching routines, aimed at helping the players shake off any fatigue and maintain peak condition ahead of their next test.

The team is expected to hold a second training session later in the day, where Chelle and his technical staff are expected to work on areas identified as weak points during Monday’s encounter.

The first meeting between both sides was held behind closed doors at the Mao Zedong Stadium.

Despite dominating possession at various phases, the Nigerian side couldn’t find a breakthrough and settled for a 0-0 draw.

The Eagles will take on Zanzibar again on Thursday before the tournament kicks off on August 2.
