Before Shania Twain’s highly anticipated performance at Glastonbury, Mescal was caught on video enthusiastically singing one of her famous lines from the song “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” while wearing his usual Glastonbury outfit.

Dressed in short shorts and a t-shirt, the 28-year-old actor’s infectious energy and obvious admiration for Shania Twain got the crowd excited. Twain herself responded to the video with laugh-crying emojis and a simple “Love it!!” comment on the BBC’s Instagram post.

Despite sound issues that affected several performances at Glastonbury, including Twain’s, the country-pop superstar managed to deliver an energetic set that pleased the large crowd at the Pyramid Stage. Fans took to social media to express frustration with the sound quality at the festival.
