His son, Robert, shared a photo on Instagram of the family celebrating the milestone, with John looking relaxed and happy alongside his son, daughter-in-law, and wife Jill.
Just months before his birthday celebration, Farnham attended his eldest son’s wedding in June, appearing well and in good spirits, a far cry from his appearance during his cancer treatment. He was also seen celebrating Christmas with his family, showing signs of recovery.
John Farnham’s journey has been challenging, including a 12-hour surgery in August 2022 to remove a cancerous tumor from his mouth, which also required a major part of his jaw to be removed.
The operation was performed by a team of 26 medical staff, and Farnham was later hospitalized due to a chest infection.
Despite the difficulties, Farnham has remained resilient and positive, announcing the release of his memoir, “The Voice Inside,” which will detail his career highs and lows, including his recent battle with cancer.
As he celebrates his 75th birthday, his fans and loved ones are undoubtedly relieved to see him in good health and spirits, and his music continues to inspire many.
