RIP: Who Is Rhys From KSI Story?
Rhys Langford, 19, had been cancer-free for a year until his family noticed concerning lumps after he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
After finding that Jacob Jones’ disease was fatal, he began fundraising for him, including donating £1,000 of his own money, in the hopes of obtaining treatment in America.
Rhys’ mother, Catherine, 38, claimed the two boys are from the same hamlet in Ebbw Vale, South Wales Valleys, but that they had never met.
Following a private donation of £1,000 to Jacob, he decided to create a fundraising website. More than £60,000 has been raised as a result of the campaign.

Death Cause Revealed
Rhys became ill for the first time in 2020 after collapsing while racing with his friends.
He had been experiencing hip pain for about six weeks. In October of that year, around two weeks after the X-ray, the family was summoned to Ystrad Mynach Hospital and informed that he had osteosarcoma.
Rhys was subsequently transferred to Birmingham Royal Hospital, where doctors discovered that his cancer had spread to his hip and femur.
Rhys rang the bell at Velindre in August 2021, proclaiming his triumph over cancer after additional 20 weeks of intense chemotherapy and immunotherapy to reduce the chances of the cancer returning. But it wasn’t to last; in December, he found that his cancer had resurfaced, resulting in his death.
