Similarly, she got pregnant in real life with her son Otis, to whom she gave birth in 2008.

Meet Her Husband
On October 13, 2007, Kate Ford married TV producer Jon Connerty, who played Tracy Barlow on Coronation Street.
Despite this, after six years of marriage, the pair divorced in 2013. They welcomed their darling son Otis into the world in 2008, in the interim.
She claimed that the divorce was excruciatingly traumatic for her and that she was unable to put her personal life on hold.
“But then it became therapeutic to concentrate on my profession,” she explained. It’s known as ‘Doctor Theatre,’ because you can’t think about anything when you’re performing.”

She does, however, suffer from endometriosis, a painful condition.

Kate is currently suffering from grade four endometriosis, which is the most severe stage of the ailment.
