Newsypeople – In a bold move amid ongoing allegations of a 15 million naira bribery investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), popular Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky has released a new video showcasing his unwavering confidence.
The video, shared on his Instagram account, features Bobrisky proudly displaying his physique and captioning it with a declaration of his beauty, stating “Damn beauty”.
The release of this video comes after Bobrisky sparked concern among his fans by opening up about suicidal thoughts and feelings of betrayal by friends. These revelations touched on personal struggles that many fans could relate to, highlighting the emotional toll of public scrutiny and social pressures.
However, despite the ongoing controversy and bribery allegations, Bobrisky remains unfazed and refuses to be deterred. In a Facebook post, he stated that he is no longer afraid and is ready to face any investigation, but on his own terms. Bobrisky demanded an independent and open investigation, stating that he will meet his accusers in court if they have any case against him.
Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman, also known as Martins Otse, has been heavily invested in Bobrisky’s case. Verydarkman leaked an audio recording claiming that EFCC dropped money laundering charges against Bobrisky after receiving 15 million naira.
Following the leak, Bobrisky made his first post after deleting all his Instagram content and denied being the one in the audio recording. He claimed that recordings can be doctored and called on the people who shared it to take responsibility for it.
Verydarkman, however, remains persistent in his pursuit of justice. He called out EFCC to know the progress of their investigation and threatened to share the second part of his audio recordings.
Verydarkman used an image to depict his thoughts, stating “Sometimes the black sheep is actually the good Guy”.
