Rachel Legacy, a friend, and employee of Ngo stated that she was horrified to hear of Ngo’s passing. Legacy works as a social worker at the hospital’s emergency room in Bathurst.

As she prepared to offer trauma care to the victim’s family, she discovered Ngo was the accident victim.

Ngo could continue to be humble throughout his entire life, according to his Legacy.

“She made these choices.

She also never mentioned it in conversation. You would be unaware of her power.

In her obituary, Ngo’s competitive drive and ability to succeed “in whatever she put her mind to” are emphasized.

Together with Ngo, she took part in the demanding two-day Nepisiguit Challenge, which comprised mountain biking, kayaking, and trekking.

The often competitive Ngo and the frequently non-competitive Legacy encountered an unexpected circumstance.

Ngo can “light up a room in a matter of moments… or [get] you motivated to push yourself even further,” according to Legacy.

She stated that Ngo was always encouraging individuals to go above and beyond to achieve their goals.

According to Legacy, she would instruct her kids that this was a “10% Thursday,” meaning they should work harder than they did the previous Thursday.

The New Brunswick Nurses Union acknowledged Ngo, who was one of the faces of its 2018 Nursing Matters Campaign, in a Facebook post. She had an infectious and boundless joy for life, according to the union.

She had a pure heart, and the nursing community lost an exceptional member way too soon. Spin North Bathurst, where Ngo worked as an instructor, also expressed sorrow over her demise.

Also, on Facebook, Spin North Bathurst posted, “Today we lost our hero.” The person who inspired us all overcame obstacles and gave us hope.

Elhatton’s Funeral Home will host the viewing on Wednesday. At 4 pm today, a celebration honoring Ngo will begin at Spin North Bathurst.

She was the loving sister of Aaron Smith, who was also from Hillsborough, and the beloved daughter of Hillsborough residents Paul and Janet (Butland) Smith. New Brunswick’s Moncton is where she was born.

Hunter, Camille, and Guillaume, Amanda’s three children who reside in Bathurst, as well as her husband and parents, are all left behind.

The loss of her leaves her mother-in-law “Ba,” her in-law brothers Trac and Hao, and her in-law sister Ha in mourning.
