Your salary belongs to your husband. You don’t have any right to use it without his consent

A Nigerian Muslim woman, Muhammed Fatima, has sated that women don’t have the right to use their own salary without the consent of their husband.

According to her, a woman’s salary belongs to her husband. 

“Dear women your salary belongs to your Husband. You don’t have any right to use it without the consent of your Husband,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
