A woman has shared what she allegedly experienced when she visited a pharmacy in Lagos for medication.
Chinenye Nweke wrote on Facebook: “Went to the pharmacy yesterday to buy medication, they were showing me two packs of the same thing, same name, same dosage, asking me which one I want.
“I asked what’s the difference, they look the same to me.
“The pharmacist: one has nafdac number, the other doesn’t
“Me: ???? What do you mean by thatttttt”
Her post has sparked a conversation about fake and substandard drugs circulating in Nigeria.
