Abitex Arrested: What Did Music Promoter Mr. Abbey Musinguzi Do?

Abbey Musinguzi, often known as Abitex, is a well-known promoter.

The high-profile event organizer responsible for a New Year’s Eve performance that murdered ten people, the bulk of whom were children, has been captured by Ugandan police.

When 500 people walked outside to view fireworks during the eve, which was organized in the venue along the Kampala-Entebbe highway, there was a crash.

The location was particularly popular with children, and it had a children’s play area as well as a swimming pool.

On Monday, Fred Enanga, a police spokesperson from Naguru headquarters, stated that they are also looking for additional organizers who were present at the event the same night.

According to him, the mall’s exits were ordered to be closed, leaving only one entry through which the crowd crammed.

They have been searching for all 500 people and attempting to get in touch with everyone who was present when the tragedy happened.

This case may take some time because it is new, and it comprises 500 persons, who will need more time than a typical patient.

Abitex, the Party’s organizer, is still in police custody. He has not been released and will most likely face extensive imprisonment as a result of the case.

More information will be released soon, and the person responsible for the deaths of all those people will almost certainly be identified and charged.

The mother of two children discussed the situation after the incident. Her two kids were discovered to be already deceased.

She feigned to be alone herself and left the area at 00:00. They were confined to a short hallway by the security guards who had closed the parking lot’s single access and instructed them to go inside.

When she emerged, she noticed that several people had fallen, and the kids had begun to sob. When her elder child held her younger child and kept them apart, she became frightened.

She then said that she had begun looking for her kids but that they had been transferred to separate hospitals. She then said that she had picked up their bodies from the hospital.

Some died on the spot from asphyxia, while others were taken to the hospital and later died.

The identities of those who died have not yet been made public.
