A young lady has sparked conversation online after pointing out what she describes as the double standard in motivational messages directed at men and women.

In a video, she noted that men are often encouraged to work hard, improve themselves and build their future, while women are more likely to hear messages telling them they are already perfect and have nothing to prove.

Questioning the narrative, she argued that women also need to put in the work to achieve their goals, saying, “Who told you that you won’t have to prove yourself? You will prove yourself. You have to work hard too.”
