TikTok stars Dakota Harper and Felicity Eatmon have been arrested and charged after allegedly setting fire to an abandoned house in West Virginia, with investigators claiming the incident was captured on surveillance video.
Harper and Eatmon, a West Virginia couple who share a popular TikTok account, were arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree arson and conspiracy to commit arson. The charges stem from a fire that broke out Sunday night at an abandoned property in Charleston.
Investigators say they subsequently obtained surveillance footage allegedly showing Eatmon handing Harper a lit piece of paper before he placed it inside the house. Authorities also allege that the footage shows the couple entering the property before eventually leaving the scene.
The fire reportedly continued to smolder days after it began, with smoke still rising from the property. A nearby church also reportedly sustained about $10,000 in damage as a result of the fire. According to jail records, Harper and Eatmon are each being held on $10,000 bond. The allegations against the couple have not been proven in court, and both remain accused rather than convicted of the charges.
