Zayn Malik has officially rejoined One Direction, ten years after he left the world-famous group.
The singer, best known for his hit Pillowtalk, is now listed once again as an active director of the band’s company, PPM Music Limited, according to new filings with Companies House. The update, made on November 3, shows Zayn’s status reinstated alongside fellow members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, all registered under the same London business address linked to Lee and Thompson LLP, a top law firm specialising in music and media law.
Zayn, 32, had previously stepped down from the company on June 20, 2016, a year after leaving the band to pursue a solo career. However, his recent reinstatement has sparked excitement among fans and renewed speculation about a potential One Direction reunion.

A source close to the band described the development as “a huge moment,” noting that recent events had brought the remaining members back into contact. “While heartbreaking, Liam’s passing has brought them together. It’s even more sad because he was the biggest cheerleader of a reunion,” the source said, referring to Liam Payne, who had long advocated for the band’s comeback.
PPM Music Limited was the company the group formed after winning The X Factor, its name derived from Princess Park Manor, the private gated complex where the band lived during their early fame.
Insiders revealed that Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik have also been filming a television project together across the United States, further fuelling reunion rumours.
Another familiar name, Alan McEvoy, who previously managed One Direction’s finances and has worked with artists like Olly Murs and JLS, is listed in the company records as well.
The news comes as Zayn prepares for his debut Las Vegas residency, set to begin in January 2026, marking a major return to the stage.
For fans who have waited nearly a decade since the band went on an “indefinite hiatus” in January 2016, Zayn’s reinstatement represents the strongest sign yet that One Direction may finally be gearing up for a long-awaited comeback.
