Veteran Fuji legend General Kollington Ayinla has sparked fresh buzz by claiming that his ex-wife, Waka queen Salawa Abeni, remains his wife — three decades after their separation.
In a recent interview with Teju BabyFace, Kollington stated that despite Salawa’s current relationship, she’s still his wife “till the end of life.” He added that her present partner is simply “loaning” her.
When asked what led to their breakup, the Fuji star replied:
“That’s how God wants it to be. Salawa has three children with me. She is my wife till the end of life… The person she is currently with is only loaning her.”
The two music icons parted ways in 1990 after eight years together and three children.
