Pasco County Sheriff Reports 5-Year-Old Girl Wounded Parents Dead in Murder-Suicide: A Florida 5-year-old child is recovering from a gunshot wound after learning that her parents committed murder-suicide on Tuesday evening.

As [the babysitter] begins to retreat, an adult can be seen approaching the mother and daughter and beginning to fire shots, according to Nocco.

According to Nocco, the mother passed out right there while the babysitter dialed 911. The young child and her father entered.

Deputies assisted the mother when they arrived, and the young daughter emerged.

She claims that she heard a loud bang while her father was upstairs using the master bathroom, Nocco said.

According to Nocco, the child gave the deputies information while being treated by medical professionals and appeared oblivious that she had been wounded in the arm. She was brought to a hospital for additional care and is anticipated to make a full recovery from her injury.

The father was discovered inside the house dead from a gunshot wound, and the mother was pronounced dead at the scene.

The mother had a protective order against her husband, according to Nocco, ever since his arrest for alleged domestic abuse in August.

Domestic abuse is a tragic tragedy that occurs in every community and in every community, Nocco added. We’re quite concerned about this as the holiday season approaches. Social media, the state of the economy, and everything else that is going on in our nation. The number of demands for mental health services is growing. We are also terrified since we are aware that domestic violence calls increase around the holidays.

According to Nocco, the youngster is with her grandparents, and the sheriff’s office is offering the victim’s advocate options.

The parents’ names have not been made public by the investigators.
