From the artistry of niche perfumery to stories of entrepreneurship and community, Oriflame Nigeria brought together influencers, staff, Beauty Entrepreneurs and the Oriflame Nigeria Management Team for a celebration of innovation and 12 years of operations in Nigeria.
On October 7, 2026, the Oriflame Nigeria Head Office at 43 Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos, became the setting for a special celebration that brought together two significant milestones: the arrival of Top Scents, Oriflame’s first-ever niche fragrance collection in Nigeria, and the company’s 12th anniversary.
Officially launched on October 1, 2026, Top Scents introduces a fresh dimension to Oriflame’s fragrance portfolio, inviting fragrance lovers to move beyond the familiar and explore scents defined by distinctive character, creativity and unexpected combinations.
To mark the occasion, nine influencers and content creators were invited to an exclusive fragrance experience, where they explored the stories, ingredients and creative thinking behind the collection. The event subsequently opened into a wider anniversary celebration, bringing together Oriflame Nigeria’s management team, staff and Beauty Entrepreneurs to reflect on the company’s journey and celebrate the community behind its growth.

Stepping Into the World of Niche Fragrance: Top Scents
The event began with a welcome address by Adesewa Okeyinka, Marketing and Sales Support Manager at Oriflame Nigeria, who welcomed the invited guests and introduced the purpose of the gathering: to offer an immersive experience of the new collection while celebrating another milestone in Oriflame Nigeria’s journey.
The event was officially opened by Nikola Baroli, Vice President and General Manager for Nigeria and Stand-Alone Markets. In his opening remarks, he shared insights into Oriflame’s Swedish heritage, its broader purpose and the thinking behind niche fragrance. He highlighted the collection as an expression of creativity and individuality, where fragrance goes beyond simply smelling good to become a personal statement.
The presentation placed the launch within the wider Oriflame story, connecting its continued interest in beauty innovation with the company’s commitment to its customers and Beauty Entrepreneurs.
At the heart of the experience were Neon Oud and Rose Mode, the two featured fragrances from the Top Scents collection. Their introduction gave guests an opportunity to discover a more expressive side of perfumery, exploring scent profiles designed to challenge familiar expectations and offer distinctive fragrance experiences.

Exploring the Art and Science of Niche Fragrance
The experience continued with an engaging presentation by Awa Irene, Oriflame Beauty Specialist, who guided the influencers through the world of niche perfumery.
Her presentation explored the fragrance formulation process, the inspiration and stories behind Neon Oud and Rose Mode, the ingredients contributing to their distinctive scent profiles, and the perfumers involved in bringing the collection to life. Guests gained a deeper appreciation of the creative decisions and expertise that shape a fragrance, from the selection and combination of ingredients to the development of a scent’s individual character.
Top Scents was created in collaboration with Givaudan, a global leader in Fragrance & Beauty with more than 200 years of fine-fragrance heritage. The company brings together perfumery craftsmanship, creative expertise and innovation to develop fragrances for brands around the world. Its fine-fragrance work combines the artistry of experienced perfumers with digital innovation and consumer insights to explore new possibilities in scent creation.
Through the collaboration, Top Scents embraces the spirit of experimentation, bringing fine-fragrance artistry and imaginative compositions together in a collection designed to encourage discovery.
The influencers also learnt about the next-generation perfumers behind the collection and the ideas that informed their creations. By experiencing Neon Oud and Rose Mode alongside the stories behind them, participants could connect with the fragrances on a deeper level, appreciating not only how they smelled but also the inspiration and expertise behind their development.
The influencers also learnt about the next-generation perfumers behind the collection and the creative thinking that shaped each fragrance. Rose Mode was created by Julie Noé, while Neon Oud was created by Andrea Montanari, both emerging perfumers from the Givaudan Perfumery School. Their creations came from a creative challenge designed to push the boundaries of traditional fragrance and explore unexpected combinations. By experiencing Neon Oud and Rose Mode alongside the stories of their creators, the guests gained a deeper appreciation for the experimentation, individuality and craftsmanship behind each scent, making the session more than a product introduction.
At the close of the exclusive presentation, the influencers received surprise Top Scents packages, extending the experience beyond the event and giving them the opportunity to continue exploring the fragrances for themselves.

From Fragrance Discovery to Anniversary Celebration
The fragrance experience transitioned into an outdoor anniversary celebration, where the influencers and content creators joined Oriflame management, staff and Oriflamiers for an evening of connection, entertainment and shared memories.
The gathering brought a relaxed and festive atmosphere to the occasion, with music, games, speeches, testimonials, photographs and an anniversary cake-cutting ceremony among the highlights.
While the fragrance session celebrated innovation and creativity, the anniversary festivities focused on the people behind the brand’s journey. It was an opportunity for different parts of the Oriflame community to connect, exchange experiences and celebrate the relationships built around the company over the years.
The games and entertainment added to the excitement, while the speeches and personal testimonials offered moments of reflection on the opportunities, experiences and achievements associated with the Oriflame journey. The anniversary cake-cutting served as a symbolic highlight, marking 12 years of presence in Nigeria and acknowledging the collective contribution of the people who have helped shape the brand’s story.
From the influencers experiencing Top Scents for the first time to the Beauty Entrepreneurs sharing in the anniversary festivities, the event brought together people connected by their experiences with Oriflame and their enthusiasm for what lies ahead.

Twelve Years of Beauty, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment
Beyond the fragrance launch and festivities, the anniversary also offered an opportunity to reflect on Oriflame Nigeria’s wider impact.
A key message from Nikola Baroli centred on the opportunities Oriflame has created through its business model. He reflected on how the company has empowered individuals to pursue their ambitions, develop entrepreneurial skills and build lives on their own terms, while expressing a commitment to doing even more in the years ahead.
His message reinforced an important part of Oriflame’s identity: its journey extends beyond the products it offers to the people who build businesses, develop skills, form communities and discover new possibilities through their association with the brand.
Through its beauty and wellness portfolio and direct-selling business model, Oriflame creates opportunities for individuals to connect with its products, build customer relationships and pursue entrepreneurial ambitions. Its Beauty Entrepreneurs remain central to this approach, connecting the brand’s offerings with the experiences and aspirations of the people they serve.
As the company marked its 12th anniversary, the celebration became a reminder that its story is not defined by milestones alone, but also by the individuals whose experiences give those milestones meaning.
Looking Ahead: A New Chapter for Oriflame Nigeria
The Top Scents launch and the 12th anniversary celebration brought together two important aspects of Oriflame Nigeria’s identity: the continuous evolution of its beauty offering and the community that has grown alongside it.
With Neon Oud and Rose Mode, the company introduced a new fragrance experience that encourages curiosity, individuality and a deeper appreciation of the art of scent. Through the anniversary celebration, it also recognised the people whose contributions, experiences and ambitions continue to shape its presence in Nigeria.
Twelve years represents more than a measure of time. It represents relationships built, experiences shared, businesses developed and opportunities pursued. It is also a reminder that there is still more to achieve.
As Oriflame Nigeria looks to the future, the company remains focused on bringing new beauty experiences to its community while continuing to create opportunities for personal and entrepreneurial growth.
The celebration was, ultimately, both a reflection on the journey so far and an invitation to embrace what comes next.
