A suspected farm produce thief has been nabbed in Wawa community, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
The suspect was apprehended on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
A resident, Suleiman Ladan, said the suspect is one of the individuals suspected of stealing groundnuts and other farm produce in the community.
The spate of reported cases of farm produce theft in the community became worse recently.
The development brings hope that the community will experience some relief from the ongoing thefts.
