The situation changed when her 42-year-old boss, a divorced father of 2, proposed, promising to buy her a car, build her a supermarket, and move her family out of their one-room apartment in Sango Ota. Tired of years of poverty, the woman’s mother is now heavily pressuring her to marry the boss, leaving her torn between love and financial security.
