Know about ‘Missing Jontae Haywood Found Dead’ A Florida youngster who had been missing since Friday was discovered dead a few hours later; the cause of death is being treated as a homicide.
Jontae Haywood, 15, was reportedly discovered shot in Bushnell, not far from where Sumter County police first responded to the missing person call. Police discovered the dead teen after discovering he may have been shot, according to WFLA.
On Thursday, Haywood reportedly disappeared. His mother informed WESH that since her son left the house that day, she had not heard from him.
It is thought that Haywood’s death was a unique incident. If any arrests have been made, it remains unknown.
