After a Missing Emmanuel Castaneda was found dead on Wednesday, a homicide investigation was launched in Florida.
The Palm Post reports that after Emmanuel Castaneda disappeared on Saturday, his mother contacted Palm Beach police to report him missing. She claimed that while her son was in the Delray Beach region, he went out with a friend who was a “bad influence.”
The mother claims that Castaneda’s cellphone was lastly pinging a tower near the Loxahatchee/The Acreage neighborhood. The Palm Post was informed by sources that the teen’s phone data helped authorities find his body in Loxahatchee.
According to Castaneda’s mother telling WPBF, her son drove away in their family car, which she required the next morning.
“He knew I had to work the next day. He understands he needs to get the automobile home. “This is the automobile we share,” she explained.
Castaneda’s death is being looked into as a possible homicide, according to WPBF. His death was not described in any greater detail.
