According to ABC News, a crucial Lockerbie Bombing Suspect Abu Agila Mohammad Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi In US Custody for the bombing of an airplane 34 years ago that killed 270 people, including 190 Americans, has been detained and will likely face charges.

The Justice Department said on Sunday that Abu Agila Mohammad Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi had been taken into custody in relation to the 1988 attack.

The bomb that exploded on the flight over Lockerbie, Scotland, just 38 minutes after it took off from London’s Heathrow Airport was reportedly created by Al-Marimi, a Libyan intelligence operative. John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York was the destination of the aircraft.
