North West has debuted a bold new look in her latest music video for the track “#n0rth4evr,” featuring faux stud piercings under and around her eyes. The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West paired the piercings with heavy makeup, a blue wig, and an edgy “emo” ensemble that included spiked bracelets, combat boots, and fingerless striped gloves.
The music video leans into a gothic aesthetic, incorporating a darkened environment, crosses, and spiders. At one point, North appears with blackened teeth, a recurring element in her polarizing style. Her look was completed with a long, embellished manicure and a black headband featuring a chain and heart pendant.

While some fans praised her as a “young emo icon” and an “upcoming artist,” others expressed concern over her mature styling at just 12 years old. This isn’t the first time North’s fashion choices have sparked debate; she has previously faced backlash for a nose-bridge accessory and her extensive collection of gold dental grills.
Kim Kardashian has continued to defend her daughter’s creative expression, stating in a past interview, “If you want blue hair, it is what it is… I would never take that creativity away from her.” Conversely, Kanye West has previously been vocal in his criticism of North’s social media presence and self-expression.
