Court Update: How Johnny Depp Attorneys Used Amber Heard Nude Photos Against Her In The Trial

Over 6,000 pages of court documents related to Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation action were released over the weekend. One of the records stated that Depp and his counsel attempted to utilize Heard as evidence in multiple instances, including the use of naked images, according to Newsweek.

Heard’s nude photos, Whitney Heard’s reality show video, Whitney Heard and Johnny Depp’s romantic history, and Heard’s “brief stint as an exotic dancer years before she met Mr. Depp and Mr. Depp attempting to frivolously and maliciously suggest or imply that Ms. Heard was at one time an escort” were four things that were determined to be “irrelevant personal matters” that “should be excluded” from the trial.

On social media, many admirers are claiming that Depp’s desire to use the naked pictures amounts to “revenge porn,” especially given that the actor was aware that the trial will be broadcast on television.

An Insight On Johnny Depp Won  Defamation Lawsuit Against Amber Heard

Johnny Depp filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard in February 2019 due to an op-ed she penned for The Washington Post in December 2018. Heard strongly implied that Depp was the abuser, portraying herself as the victim of domestic and sexual assault.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor further asserted that he was the one who had been abused by Heard and that her accusations had caused him to lose his job, with Disney refusing to consider him for the next roles.

Heard countersued Depp in August 2020, claiming that the actor had harassed her and tried to get her fired from Aquaman and L’Oreal. From April 11, 2022, through June 1, 2022, Fairfax County, Virginia hosted the highly-publicized Depp-Heard trial. Depp received $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages from Heard after the jury determined that her op-ed was false and malicious (although the punitive penalties were lowered to $350,000 due to a cap set by Virginia state law).

In response to Heard’s countersuit, Depp paid her $2 million in compensatory damages but no punitive damages.

Info On How The actor Sent Marilyn Manson Text Messages About His Ex-Wife

Other than the plan to exploit Amber Heard’s scantily clad pictures, the recently made public documents contained information about Johnny Depp’s relationship with Marilyn Manson. The two men discussed Heard’s “sociopathic behavior” in a number of text exchanges.

According to The New York Post, Manson allegedly texted Depp in 2016 saying, “I got an amber 2.0” and “Lindsay just pulled an amber on me.”

Please remove It is f***ing real, my brother! I’ve been reading a lot of literature about that and psychopathic conduct. Depp reportedly replied to the SMS. “Goddamn textbook, my ex-c***!”

Then the shock rocker referenced a 2016 incident when the police were called to Depp and Heard’s Los Angeles apartment. “I got a serious police amber-type scenario with L’s family. I’m f***ing stressing,” Manson texted. “I don’t know if you are back but I need asylum somewhere because I think the cops might be headed my way.”
