Let’s know about ‘Amar’e Stoudemire Arrest And Charges For Beating Daughter’ Amar’e Stoudemire, a former star in the National Basketball Association, was detained for reportedly striking and abusing his adolescent daughter.
According to a police report, 6′ 10″ former Miami Heat center Stoudemire accused his daughter of interrupting her grandmother. She reportedly suffered a bloody nose when he allegedly entered her bedroom in their Miami house and hit her on the right side of the jaw and smacked her in the face. Then, according to WFOR, he continuously slapped her body.
The girl sent a photo of herself crying with blood streaming down her face to her mother via text. Stoudemire received the mother’s phone and instructed her to come pick up the child since she was acting “disrespectfully.”
In order to investigate, police went to Stoudemire’s house. Because she “got a whipping from him for being rude and a liar,” Stoudemire’s daughter called her mother, the player claimed.
He was prompted to elaborate by the officers but declined. He was then taken into custody and charged with assault. Later, he was freed after posting a $1,500 bond.
Stoudemire has a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old daughter. Which one was involved in the incident was not made clear in the police report.
Stoudemire competed in the NBA from 2002 to 2016, spending time with the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, and New York Knicks before finishing his career with the Heat. From 2020 until the conclusion of the previous campaign, he worked for the Brooklyn Nets as a player development assistant.
