A Canada-based Nigerian photojournalist has pushed back against claims that insecurity is a problem everywhere in the world.
In a video shared online, he explained how crime and emergency situations are handled in Ontario, Canada, where he resides. According to him, when even a single child goes missing, an Amber Alert is immediately sent to communication devices across the affected area, informing the public and encouraging residents to assist in locating the child.
He argued that such rapid response systems demonstrate the seriousness with which authorities address security concerns.
His comments come amid reports of the kidnapping of teachers and students from a school in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. Reports indicate that one of the abducted teachers was later k!lled by the kidnappers.
