In southern Indiana, authorities are detaining a woman wanted in connection with the death of a 5-year-old kid found inside a bag.

Dawn Coleman, 40, was detained last month in San Francisco as a result of her involvement in the killing of Cairo Jordan.

He was found dead in April from an electrolyte imbalance, but his identity wasn’t revealed until late October.

Coleman was taken to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office’s facility and lodged early on Sunday at 1:25 am, according to the department.

She is charged with obstructing justice and neglect-related death of a dependant.

According to the police, she is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She has been active on social media, sending multiple videos and messages, and her Facebook page has the identities “Ankh Kek” and “Mama Gawd.”

Several of Coleman’s social media posts are mentioned in the warrant for her arrest.

 

Where Is Cairo Jordan’s Mother Dejaune Anderson?

The boy’s mother, Dejaune Anderson, is still on the run. It was initially believed that Anderson was in the Los Angeles area, despite having also traveled to Houston, Las Vegas, San Diego, and San Francisco. She is charged with killing.

Dawn Coleman is being held at the Washington County Jail.

Along with the same offenses as Coleman, she is charged with murder.

Investigators claim that a day before to Cairo’s body was found, Anderson said on Facebook that Cairo was “an entire demon in a child’s body.”

Authorities were able to identify both ladies thanks to fingerprints found on rubbish bags within the suitcase, according to a probable cause affidavit. According to the Police, they looked at pictures of the exact suitcase on Coleman’s Facebook page.

The relationship between the women has not been discussed by the police. Despite the fact that Anderson is said to have referred to Coleman as her “sister” in court filings, police assert that they do not believe this to be the case.

5-year-old Cairo Jordan was found dead inside a suitcase in southern Indiana, and Dawn Coleman is accused of being complicit in his death.

Coleman is accused of obstructing justice and neglecting a dependent which led to a fatal outcome. She will appear in court on Monday.

Also, Coleman is allegedly anticipated to be extradited to the Washington County jail within 30 days to face accusations of the negligence of a dependent resulting in death and obstructing justice.

Jordan was wrapped in a trash bag, and the bag’s fingerprints matched those on Coleman’s, according to court records. On the garbage bag belonging to Jordan’s mother, Dejaune Ludie Anderson, a second match was discovered.

A warrant was issued in October for Coleman and Anderson’s imprisonment before police traveled to California to place them under arrest. Authorities were unable to find Anderson, but they did see Coleman. It is believed that she is hiding out in California.

Also, The Indiana State Police stated that Jordan’s death was likely caused by electrolyte imbalance and dehydration as a result of vomiting and diarrhea when he was found a month later.
